◘ Research Psychologist ◘

About me

I received both a master’s and a doctorate degree in Industrial & Organizational (IO) Psychology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL.  I worked with Professor Dana Joseph in the Emotions & Moods in Organizations (EMO) lab, where I studied job attitudes, behavioral engagement, and emotional intelligence. I served as a Consortium Research Fellow and worked with the Teacher Education Institute (TEI) conducting training research. I worked for six years as a research scientist and leadership development consultant working under the direction of Professor Timothy (Tim) Judge at the Fisher Leadership Initiative and Pangloss Industries.

My current research interests mostly focus on selection, assessment, leadership, training, job attitudes, and ethics in organizations. My work has appeared in a number of journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Industrial & Organizational Psychology.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and watching TV and movies (mostly comedy, sci-fi, and horror). But mostly, I am an avid music fan with a love for a ton of different genres.
